ROAD/RACE- Anyone interested in FORGED N/A PISTONS?
Not a bad idea, and I have been thinking about it, problem is that I am a college student and I use that card for food and stuff when I am inbetween pay days. I am sorry but Ramen just does not cut it lol. If that is what it takes to get these pistons though I will consider it, But... I do need a range estimate on how much these would cost to install so I know how much I will need to have just in case I need to save more.

I appreciate that you guys areserious. We are a business and we have know we will sell these. I think they are worthwhile for sure for ugys who want to stay N/A. Install prices vary. They can be installed by a good motor guy without pulling the motor. If you are pulling motor, I recommend that you get cltuch and aluminum flywheel too.
Start putting $ down at least. These will take a month to make at least so you guys have time to get rest of the $. These will be special order so....

Rock,
I guess I am in, where do you want the info? let me know and I will call/e-mail.
So from what I understand, I can just take out the old pistons and put these in, I won't need anything else correct?

Thanks for posting that. We don't do engine work at our shop. ROAD/RACE Service might do install of them though. We build our own but we do not do engines here. There are lots of qualified places to get them installed.

Bumping up to 10:1 would keep the reliability of the motor 100% intact. The stock ecu will compensate for the higher ratio in closed loop(driveability) and open loop(mashing on it) with the ease of just raising your fuel pressure a couple psi.
Add the rpw cams to this, port/polished head, Ported intake manifold, TB, CAI, Header, High flow cat, and catback you should easily see 160-170whp/wtq levels in the 5speed. With a tuned piggyback probably more.
For some people this would also mean keeping the car 100% legal for SMOG/State restrictions.

Short answer........
No emissions issues. Install time depends. Have a professional install these though. Don't pull a dorm room parking lot install!
