ROAD/RACE- Anyone interested in FORGED N/A PISTONS?
I have now officially put money down. Lets get this going! The sooner you get your orders in, the sooner they put in the order to the piston manufacturers!
PS - didn't ask who I spoke with (I thought that would be dorky), but thanks to whoever it was. That was the nicest phone conversation I've ever had with a vendor.

Do you have to pay for the whole set up front or can you just put a deposit? How much would the deposit be? I'm interested in these but I don't got 1000$ CAD just sitting around.
from what I understand you don't pay anything upfront until the order is made, which is suppose to be in late december, early January, Rock or boe can you please specify so we can get this thing going.

Once my new credit card comes in, I could probably do it since I don't have the money on hand...
Quesitons on these: If I later plan to go turbo.. should I go back to stock pistons?
And kind of off topic, but about your other pistons you sell, can you use those on N/A?

Pump - you probably would want stock pistons for turbo. Compression of 9:1 or 9.5:1 are generally pretty close to ideal. So the 10:1 or 10.5:1 that these will create would be a hindrance for turbo.
Yes, the other pistons are fine for N/A or turbo. They won't raise HP, they'll just make your pistons stronger. This is necessary for addition of either boost or nitrous.

yes pumpdog.
These things are going to give you more power down in the low end all the way up through the top end, read up on em, they are really going to help make our N/A motors come alive.

Yes, pumpdog. To lengthen Tweak's answer, the 9.5:1 pistons they've been selling are just made because our stock pistons are weak. So if you add nitrous, you ruin them. If you go up to 10 psi of boost, you ruin them. The pistons and rods they currently sell are like stock, but stronger.
These new pistons change the compression. As an example, think of the "no replacement for displacement" theory. We're adding more gas and air to the explosion, which adds more power. So upping to 10:1 or 10.5:1 just gives you more power overall. As an added bonus, these new pistons will be stronger than the stock pistons, so nitrous becomes safer. (note: safer, not safe)
