I PM'd ROCK he told me you can put $200.00 down and pay it off when you can (no refunds).
COME on akasirlancerlot it's me and you who they need to make them!!!
I'm putting my money down on the 16th!

And read the first thread with cams and pistons you could be getting much more than 10hp!

if you do a google search on HC pistons, most people who use them get quite a bit more than 10, the benefit is though, that it is a little bit of HP through your entire powerband, which very few mods can do.

PS <----- omg look at my hids, also an investment everyone should make.

From remembering earlier posts, it's been guessed that the pistons alone will add 20-25hp.

C'mon guys - just throw some money on your credit cards! Get in on this!

Yes, install will be expensive. But worth it.

Function over form! Fast cars get the girls!

PS - screw the Basics. Save up for the SS. The adjustability is worth it.

The install will probably cost as much as the pistons do. You essentially have to remove the entire intake, exhaust and fuel system and then tear apart the engine. Then, of course, put everything back together. Given how much most places charge per hour, it'll be pricey.

considering how much work has to be done, thats not too bad, and while they are at it you can have other stuff installed too. I am tempted to get the new rods too just because the engine will already be apart so it might be worth it price wise to just have them done now, no such thing as an engine that is too strong.

My thoughts exactly.

Unfortunately, I can't afford the pistons, rods, and install...

you wouldnt need the rods if you stay NA, unless you want to use nitrous oxide

don't have to have them, but it wouldn't hurt either, will prevent there from being any worry of the rods breaking, ever, lol I wouldn't use nos even if you paid me, but it would be nice to be reassured that your engine is beefy enough to handle anything you throw at it. I mean, have you seen our rods? they are metal pencils.

I have two rods at my house. Not very beefy, no.

Incidentally, I think nitrous wouldn't be too bad. Since we're replacing the weak pistons, theoretically, it should be safer now. I haven't heard of anything but the pistons and rods breaking, but someone correct me if I'm wrong.

And trust me, with the knowledge of our engine and nitrous, I'd be sticking small - 25 shot, most likely. Just enough for fun.
