HAHA...Sri kits jsut replace the flex tubing that our cars have stock for looks...there is no/very littel functionality to the piping. Some of it has to do with the temp of the air...but nothign a heat shield can't fix. Look in the registry for RMR SRI intakes and you will see some. Also, most of the home made kits do it like that. All you really need to pay for is the adapter plate and cone filter...... You can fabriacte a brakcet to hold it up along with a heat shield...some even do the adapter. Cold air intakes are the ones with lots of piping...because they have to get the filter down where the air is buy the fog light well....
