Lightbulb How are your winter projects coming ?

I was just curious about this one - is there anyone putting some projects together for their lancers over these winter months? I hate this time of year... it's cold, the weather's bad, and there are hardly any events going on.

My season don't begin until late march - early april when the dragstip opens for tune n test sessions. I have recieved my rrm piggyback and intake manifold and an waiting delivery of my headers, motor mounts, and throttle body.
I am really excited about this and I intend on running for the class title this year. Hurry up April !!!!!!!

good luck w/ the NOS, you'll most likely destroy the engine they're pretty damn weak

Winter project = putting it back to stock and selling all my mods It's going pretty well, the only parts I left on the car are the grille, CF trim, and cat-back. No, I'm not selling the Lancer, just making it back into the comfy commuter car it started out as, and will be codriving someone's Suzuki Swift for the upcoming autocross season, which by the way starts in 2 weeks here in So. California!!!

Pretty good so far. I got a custom made cat-back system with 2.25 in. piping with a Magnaflow muffler. Switched from regular oil to synthetic with a K&N oil filter. Silvania Silverstar headlights(fake H.I.D's LoL). Getting ready to switch the graphics that I have on the car. Just bought 4 new Goodyear Tripple Tread tires(I can't even tell you how much of a performance improvement and styling que these things are over the stock) and got new Premium Rabesto brake pads witch is an absolute huge improvement over the stock ones. I think they are at the quality level of the cheaper Axxis pads.(Bout the same price). I know some of these things arn't really true mods, but for a high school kid that works at a fast food joint, I am doing my best!!

agreed. I have seen approximately 15 people say they put NOS on their Lancer, and 15 people said they blew their engine on NOS. You do the math.

Hopefully I get my turbo and rebuild my engine and forge the pistons, and rods, and stoke it to a 2.3 so i can run high boost and try to be 1 of the fastest lancers!

i am hopefully putting my car in for new paint. i am not sure what color. i have yellow now but am thinking of a yellow orange and red cameleon paint i just don't know if it is too over the top. my interior is yellow with blue neon under the dash and seats and kinda wanna keep it so if anyone has suggestions on what colors throw me some ideas. My turbo kit is done besides me finding someone to make me an up pipe and downpipe. i am using my wrx stock turbo.
