i got it!!!!!

This was the problem
ok i looked down the hole to look at the bolt and it was off centered alittle bit. So what was happening was that i was tighining the bolt as far as i could until the walls around the srtut bar forced the wrench off the nut. So what i was doing was just gripping the top half or third of the nut and then the wrench slipped off making it feel like it was turning the nut when i really wasnt doing anything at all. So what i did was take off all the bolts and just try to get that one on that was giving me trouble. I turned it very slowly and made sure i didnt slip off the nuts and i got it on, the other three nuts went on with no problem. Man that was problem solving for the day.

Thanks for all your help guys. Gotta love evom

I had the same problem, only we had to shave down one of the nuts to get it to fit inside the cup and still line up with the threads. I say "we" because I was lucky enough to be at the RRM shop when I did this. Although they have a jig, every Lancer can be off by a mm or 2, and that might make things a tight fit. But you got it, hopefully this thread will help others if they have the same dilemma.
