The question remains: how much did he spend to do it? and how long did it take? Did he swap tranny, too? Or did he make the stock trans work?

sorry illuminati, don't think I'm trying to hijack your thread, but since it was brought up here, I figured I could ask.

for the kind of money you're looking at, buy a RalliArt I think the only piece that will be easy is the mating to the tranny, because I think Mitsu kept those the same
wow, is it really that hard, how much do you think it would cost?

Cause somebody on the forums is selling a ralliart engine, and I was wondering if it was worth getting and swapping in a 04 ES. But if its gonna be hard, and costly, then like you said, its prolly better just buying a Ralliart instead of doing the swap.

i'm not even willing to guess.... but so Far Illum's spent 5 grand. Canadian, granted, but I can't imagine it would be less in US dollars.

Besides, the big deal about MiVEC is that it changes from a wimpy cam to an aggressive cam at a certain RPM. Fact is, most Honda guys get an eManage and set that VTEC point to 1000RPM anyway to get to the aggressive part as soon as possible... so why bother? Just get a more aggressive cam for your regular engine. the extra 0.4L prob isn't worth the hassle, time and money.

Back on topic, please

1 Canadian dollar = .80 USD (approx).

Adam had done both a G94 (first one to do it) and a G63T evo swap. Then, he wasn't happy w/ the performance on the G94 and upgraded it to an Evo motor.

If Adam's profile is still up or just email him on his car domain site. Also, his turn around time was abnormally fast . . . so was Nchant in NZ. I think YogiB (on this site with an E4) know Nchant. I'm saying don't use their turn around time as a basis for everyone.

Here's the engine dampener that a couple of miragers had bought. If you are going to add a strut bar on top of the dampener plate, you might as well get long bolts.
