for $50 shipped I would do it, I'm in a lil bind on pay the car back to my parents and I just got the RRM turbo non-IC kit but b/c of that I'm thinking this would help get some performance out of the car.

If the price is right I'd be up for this, might as well do this when I do my manifold.

dam, just swapped out my IM for a 4g93 saturday, not looking forward to doing that again or i would jump on this

just keep in mind fellas, this is essentially pushing the IM back 3/8", so your under IM bracket won't line up, your upper TB to engine block bracket won't line up. everything else should be fine that i know of, unless you got a strut tower bar on right now and its already a closer fit, then you might run into problems

$50-$60 is a range not a SET price, until then you will have many people who will be intrested until there is a SET price.

What's the material used? is it a hard plastic or metal? If it is plastic then i couldn't see it being a hard thing to make yourself with the right tools.

i would think a some sort of plastic, because it has to act as a thermal barrier, opposed to the block-gasket-IM which acts as a thermal coupler

and yes, if you were a professional machinist with the ability to not only machine this material, but get ahold of it, you could do this very easily. oh, you don't have a cnc mill in your garage? then no, it will be very hard to do well

If by putting this, would the turbo eventually hit the radiator? It's 3/8" thick so...

your kinda backwards, the only thing its moving is the IM, backwards 3/8"

it doesn't move the engine block forward, which would cause your turbo to hit the radiator, so no

Oh right, I thought this was for the headers. Sorry. This is definitely a great upgrade though.

I'm interested in the future, after people have installed it and had no probs.
