im thinking 10 will be fine...since im also trying to set this up for the RA guys as well...but he's still gotta look at the g93/94 intake mani gasket to make sure it will be ok to make

dam, just swapped out my IM for a 4g93 saturday, not looking forward to doing that again or i would jump on this
just keep in mind fellas, this is essentially pushing the IM back 3/8", so your under IM bracket won't line up, your upper TB to engine block bracket won't line up. everything else should be fine that i know of, unless you got a strut tower bar on right now and its already a closer fit, then you might run into problems

i would think a some sort of plastic, because it has to act as a thermal barrier, opposed to the block-gasket-IM which acts as a thermal coupler
and yes, if you were a professional machinist with the ability to not only machine this material, but get ahold of it, you could do this very easily. oh, you don't have a cnc mill in your garage? then no, it will be very hard to do well

your kinda backwards, the only thing its moving is the IM, backwards 3/8"
