gasket!

gasket!

ok I'm taking off my greddy catback system to put my stock exhaust back on. problem is...I can't find the stock gaskets anywhere! anyone know the part number? are these universal...is it just the diameter of the piping or is it vehicle specific?

Gaskets

Why dont you just call the dealer and find out. Give them your vin and they will tell you.

Measure the pipe diameter. (1 7/8") I believe and any auto parts store will have it. Just tell them you need exhaust gaskets for a 1 7/8" 2 bolt flange. They are standard issue.

Or just go to the local parts store and have them run a 0x Lancer ES then ask about the exaust gasket.

Either pay too much and get the official ones that fit perfectly.

Or go to the local parts store. They probably won't have Lancer gaskets, but they might. If they don't, ask for the same gasket off a 1.8L 2001 Mirage. They're almost exactly the same. You can make them fit easily.

ok...everything is taken care of...I got the 2 bolt flange from some chrystler...then I got the materials to fabricate the 3 bolt flange...took me 5 minutes with an exacto knife... I will be slow again in less than an hour...(not the the exhaust made me fast)
