upgrade if you have the money, get a new one if you don't. To be honest, you could probably reuse the old gasket, but you are in there anyway and the stress on the gasket is so high, not to mention who knows when the next time you will have the IM off. Might as well get a new gasket to save yourself the worry and trouble later.

Metal gaskets hold up pretty well, so you're fine with reusing it. I would recommend replacing the o-ring on the coolant pipe, though.

Hopefully this means that mine should be on the way soon! I paid for it about three weeks ago and have been waiting patiently ever since. Here's to hoping!

You can replace it like everyone says, I know RPW sell intake manifold gaskets, (which I have had for about 4 months and haven't even touched it - lol).

Not sure about any other place.

He got his from PPI (I think) and I'm guessing you got yours from RRM, so different companies/turnaround times.

Yep, maybe shoot them off an e-mail to get the status or the ETA.

Ah, yes. I remember that you went through PPI instead of RPW now. Bummer.

Silly question about this: On their site they state they do the work on your core. Did you send in the IM for them to work on your core, or do they something similar to what RRM is doing? Only reason I ask is because the way this is being phrased in this thread it potentially sounds like he was able to just order it from them.

Currently PPI does the work on your core, since they don't have an extra 4G69 manifold in their shop. Hopefully this will change in the near future, though. If you can be without your car for a few days, PPI's turnaround time is fast, manofaith can give more specific details if you PM him.

Hello guys, just wanted to drop in and answer any questions you have. Otter has answered some of your questions..thank you sir!

Yes, we port your manifold. Turn around time is very quick for just porting. We can also have it coated by Swain Tech. to help pull heat out of the manifold. This is a black coating.
