There is nothing to bore. It is already an overbored 1.8

Wait... How much water did you suck into your engine? Did the car overheat? Because my first thought would be the cylinder head gasket. Which is still easy to fix do some research and check your engine out you may be able to get the insurance company to pay you to fix it and make some money on the back end......

Actually, the bore of the 4G93 and 4G94 are very close. 81mm to 81.5

Stroke is where made the big difference. 89mm to 95.8

So technically, it's more of a stroked 1.8
