Need some software
Does anyone have the software that dealership is using to get part number or simply look up the way engine is built?
Where to get it?
What's the name?

not sure what you mean....I have the 4 volume shop manual, that pretty much give you everything you need w/ blown apart pictures. I believe you can get the manual on cd. I have seen them on ebay for pretty cheap. Trying to install pistons? =] Good luck, try ebay.
I do have Service manual for Lancers on a CD but it's not that specific.
Last time I was at the dealership I saw them using this program where you could click at each part of the engine (spark plugs, boots, wires, etc.).

I'm probably doing something wrong, and don't feel like figuring it out.
The software's kinda funky to use and takes a little getting used to. I used to work at Mitsu parts counter and have a feel for using it. There is probably a newer version than 3.41 out by now. That's why you might not find some parts for newer '04 or '05's. I think I'll take a trip back to Mitsu parts today and see what version they're using. Maybe I can talk my old boss into letting me copy the new version again.
I just got back from Mitsu a couple minutes ago. They are using v3.41 also. My old boss asked me if I wanted a copy of the "new software". I told him I already had a copy. He laughed. The program doesn't have some of the newer part numbers for the '04's and '05's on the Mitsu parts computer yet either. Let me know if any of you guys have any questions working or installing the program. Peace.
