evo style hood= flooded intake?

I'm thinking about getting the RRM vent. Do you guys have any suggestions on where to place it to get the most performance. I don't want water being a factor period but I want it to serve its purpose because my engine bay is way too hot.
I hope you make it look pro. Post a pic when you are done because if it looks good then I'll do it but has of right now I am leaning toward the RRM vent I just need some suggestions on where to put it.

ok i have accolade's evo 7 hood, i've modified the vent to actually be open ( and "glued" mesh behind it so no1 can reach in there.) and i've taken it tru the self wash bays and sprayed water right into the vent.
