it came on today.. i ahve no engine mods... what gives? i just got the oil and air filter changed two daYS AGO, what is the range of the problem i could be having.??

Possibly when air filter was changed the MAS got knocked around.. check to see if thats tight. Check your oil level.. If all else fails, go to Autozone or something to get it diagnosed with the OBD-II port connector reading (free). I'm also assuming you have your factory warranty since it is only a 2003. Go back to the dealership if you can't figure it out after checking loose wiring, oil level, OBD-II readings, etc.

edit: sorry, but if you didn't know, the MAS (mass airflow sensor) is the square box with wires going to it on your intake tube. It senses the air flow going to the intake manifold.

Yep they do it for free and u can borrow tools from them for free.

broken air filter box.... now i really need an intake... gotta persuede my gf to buy me one... nothing serious though.
