Given that RX-8, the new Z and the STI are coming out in the same time frame, I doubt they can achieve very high sales with a near-$30K EVO...

I wanted them to bring less, I don't want the EVO to be just another Civic, and now WRX...I want it to maintain a uniqueness and keep it out of teenager's hand....

Im confused. Do you not think the rx8, z, sti will be around 30k? Wont they suffer the same consequences as the Evo? how will that make an evo a civic? Mitsubishi eclipse gsx, nissan 300zx, toyota supra, mazda rx-7, pontiac transam/firebird, corvette. I have yet to see MANY teenagers driving these monsters. I doubt many teenagers unless 18-19 will be able to afford an evo, yet alone, know what one is. Teenagers who do buy them, know what these cars are about. Does that not constitute the people who will by these cars and baby them? So no matter how many of you disagree with me, i believe that statement made by lanevo is not entirely correct. By bringing less the market demand rises, which means the evo will be over inflated, no? The evo will not become no civic, trust me. Btw, who cares if there is 900 million, thats the way life works. WHo know there could be 50,000 people who think just like you, or look just like you, yet you can still be unique. Its hard to be unique nowadays anyhow. Theres two kinds of people in this world, *******s and the good guys. Same with cars, theres ricers and then theres enthusiasts, so consider yourself an enthusiast, mingle with enthusiasts and be happy with YOUR car, not someone elses.

1st off, just want to point out that I am not saying you're wrong or what. The things I say is just my opinion, my feeling, you may not agree with me and we all love the EVO, that counts.

This is based on the 8,000 units assumption of that sales person, I don't think that 8,000 number is valid. I think Mitsu is bringing out less than this figure because of the competition they're facing. Same thing apply to RX-8, Z and STi...I didn't say Mitsu is bringing a LOT of EVO...
