Unless you never drive bad roads, trust me when I tell you it's worth spending the extra money. A $700 set of wheels is a lot less appealing when they have bent lips.

I'd promise pics, but I know how lazy I am. I have 4 bent wheels (Each with more than one bend no less) to show for it. I'd hate to see the same thing happen to someone else. The only downside to buying more expensive wheels...if you ever curb one you'll be SO ****ing pissed.

You can get a set of 16' rota slipstreams for 500$, plus since your in the states you get free shipping (bastards!). Put some good rubber on those and you'll be set, it might cost a little more than 700$, but you'll be happy you didn't screw around in the end.
Edit: If you want 17s, do a search for Rota rims. There are some vendors here that often do sales on the slipstreams, torques, etc..

hmm, honestly...around $550 or something. cause i really wana get them before my birthday, and the only way possible, is to slave and work hard as hell at work and save up. i dont make but only $6.25 an hour, and i work roughly 30 hours a week. paid every two. my birthday/deadline is on august 6th. i want them on my car by then. just to be able to wake up that morning and be like .. ooh chris, what r u doing toda? oh yeah, get these wheels/tires put on my car, so i can arrive at my bday bash with style!

Once again, don't half *** it, if you buy 550$ rims and tires, you get like 450$ rims and 100$ tires. I understand that your anxious to get the rims on your car, but imagine what you'll be thinking 6 months down the line when the cheap, crappy ones you got are all bent, scratched and scuffed up and the tires are completely shot.
