^^ My question as well. I have the money. What hardware, if any, will we need to get? Will the stock bolts be long enough? Man, I was just gonna install my ported IM and 60mm TB tomorrow - oh well, I guess I can take it all apart again to put these on

Very exciting. I'ma trust Boe on this one; he's said earlier in the thread that the stock bolts will work just fine, and that there won't be any fitment issues for either the '94 or '93 IM.

As anxious as I am to see some photos, especially of a finished, installed product, I'll put my money down.

Fitment isn't an issue. Prior to any being sent they are test fitted to a manifold/head that i have on the bench. The stock bolts will be fine for these. I sized them so that there would be no issues and i actually upgraded the material so that there is a higher heat resistance. It bumped the costs up a bit but i wanted to keep things simple...

Higher heat resistance means i could go thinner on material... and i could keep stock mounting hardware... and it would work just as efficient if not better than the competition.

As i test i put a MAP gas touch on one side and started burning into the material... guess what?? You could put your hand on the other side and barely feel anything. This stuff is great.

With these you won't use any gaskets. Just bolt it right in and tight. I've pressure tested the items for turbo guys as well and there were no issues at all up to 30psi. I stopped there as i figured that was enough of a test.

Thus the list has begun...

Sorry but i didn't think of it... the only one made as a prototype was later the one i torched to check for the heat resistance. It didn't make for a pretty picture afterwards.

Until i do the actual production run i won't have pictures. You can trust though that it will be right. They are brown though... guess you can paint the perimeter black if you don't like brown.

Won't have pics until they are made. Only made one prototype and tested with torch. If you don't want to buy due to no pics then by all means don't... i'm not going to invest any more into making a set just for pictures right now. These are very expensive and i'm trying to give them to you guys at the lowest price possible.

There are other alternatives out there. RPW makes the gaskets as well. You'll pay a lot more but at least they can give you pics... oh wait they posted pics of gaskets made for a V-6 car??

I'll keep this attempt going until JULY 15th. If by then there aren't enough people i'll refund all money and dump the project.

Thanks for the support thus far guys...

You're welcome.

Give it some time man. Not every guy comes to the boards every day, and some people have to wait to get paid. It would be great if you could extend it till end of next week if you could, 90 bucks is a great deal but to some guys who don't make that much 90 bucks is still a big chunk of change... all I'm saying is it might take some time for people to get the money together.

Okay, another quick question. Were/Are these the same size (not neccessarily thickness) as the stock gaskets? I just installed a ported/gasket matched IM and just want to be sure I won't be restricting any air I just had opened up.
