Quick question, will these be the same thickness as the stock gaskets, or will we be unable to use the stock mounts on manifold that hold it still (not really an issue for he 4g93 guys)?

If you can set your car up on jacks, then you'll have no problem getting at the bolts to get the IM on and off. It really is that simple. There is nothing tricky about it like the stock header. Anyhow, count me in!

true, but ideally what would occur would be someone who was planning on doing the dyno would do a baseline, then throw these on and do another pull, and get some comparisons, i would like to see those.

Let me start by saying this...

This post is in no way intended to confirm any payments. It is a feeler post to ensure that this is a viable product to produce, due to demand, and that some could prepay in order get the product line into production faster.

As for thickness they will .250 thick like most are... as for the studs/bolts, if there are any need for them then they would be provided.

Cost is not set yet so don't be concerned with stating that you will only pay 60 bucks for them. Instead let me know if you want them and would be willing to prepay for them... agian there is NO COMMITMENT in posting your name/pre-pay status. I'm just gauging interest and costs.

As for dyno sheets... these items have been used for years on various cars with proven results. I won't invest in that as i know members will do it at some point and the items usefullness has been proven before.

BTW, the intercooler does cool the air coming into the TB from the turbo, and even if the air is still hot, the spacer is going to make it cooler than not having one. so it does benefit turbos even if just by a little bit.

all I was saying by "I'll prepay if it's less than $70" is that if the total is more than $70 I won't be interested and I figured I'd tell you in case that would impact your decision to start.

Good info about the way the ICs are piped, too

some one correct me if im wrong... but i dont believe these spacers are actually gonna increase hp. more or less they are gonna let you keep hp... so dynos would be useless unless you dyno when your car is nice and hot... let it cool, install the spacer, get it nice and hot again then dyno it again. You may see a lil (1-2) increase in tq as eboy said from making the runners a little bit longer... but u shouldnt see an actual increase in hp, it just lets you keep hp when you would start to lose it from heat as this just allows the air to stay cooler. If that makes sense.

That's like saying an intake won't increase horsepower, it'll let you take advantage of the engine's capacity to breathe while moving. It won't make an increase in HP, but will prevent loss from inefficiency while driving. See what I mean? The fact that the spacers will keep the manifold and TB, and therefore the intake charge, cooler WILL increase the HP output, dyno or otherwise.

^^ Yeah, same reason a CAI adds a little more power than a SRI - cooler air = more power.
