from what i have read it requires more modifications. as compared the g94 and/or g93 IM you should see more high end power...that's what the shorter runners will do for ya (short, straight runner=high end power----long runner=low end power)..i also forgot to mention that it would be a bored 63 IM not a stock one. from what i read and the pictures i found the plenium is pretty much wide open and since the runners are straight (not curved like the g93/g94 IM) they can be fully ported without leaving a "bottle neck" situation in the curve of the manifold...i imagine i would lose a fair amount of low end torque but it would be made up for with the high end gains. my main concern is sensor placements and making sure the injectors will fit properly...when i conclude the research on it i'll be sure to let you know what i have found.

Boe is working on a Twin Tbody, 4G93 can be fitted, RRM is selling 4G94 ported IM, and now ported 4g63!!!!

hahaha the ported 4g63 already exists...RRE sells one and i believe i saw an AEM one (or it could have been an evo owner putting an AEM sticker on the manifold to look cool)...as for Boe's twin TB, i can't wait. More info to come on the G63 as soon as i find it.

Think you'll have a tough time fitting the G63 manifold... totally different runner separations to the head... as well as different bolt patterns. Keep us posted though as i've yet to see it accomplished.

i wasn't so much worried about the bolt patterns as i was runner seperation...i can always drill new holes, but i'd need to find somebody who could pressure bend the runners to line up with the head...that is the last thing other than sensor placement that i was highly worried about. it might be pretty costly and have to run a couple attempts to get it to match. there is a machine shop in my area that MIGHT be willing to take on the project....only problem is i need an extra head. i'll keep you posted if anything comes of it.

I guess I'm confused as to why the G63 is an advantage over even a G93. It seems that with bolt placement differences and runner separation issues the cost of fabrication would be prohibitive. And they're not magic or anything, even if they flow better I can't see them being THAT much better Plus, the G93s are accesible, flow almost better (or maybe just better) stock than even a ported G94 and don't require any fancy modifications.

Is there a thread about this?

e-boy, i know exactly where you are coming from on the g93 manifold. the reason i was really looking into the g63 manifold is because of it ability to be bored out larger than the g93. i know it will be costly (even if i don't end up fitting the IM i won't be disappointed if i learn something new researching it in the mean time)...basicly it is just something i would like to experiment with and maybe come up with some other options for the lancer...far fetched---->right now a little bit but i think it can be managed. i've still got some hope in me if that counts for anything hahaha.
