The guy that did the inspection I used to go to church with. My blinker lens is still clear, its just the piece behind it is painted. I didn't paint the chrome part around the bulb, just the housing itself. I've had the eyelids on for almost 3 years and I passed everytime with them before (including that garage).

Ok, I just got off the phone with the guy that did my inspection. He said that he was wrong about the paint but the eyelids had to be removed. Easy enough. Thanks for the help.

the great thing about the eyelids is you can just take them off and then but them back on
