uhhh, lol... its a battery, as long as its top terminal, then it should work...

He is right, it does say the none will fit, but i've seen members here with yellow tops and red tops for that matter.

u can get them with the + and - reversed also like the stock batteries otherwise u have to try and stretch your + in place of where the negative is now

Go get a tape measure and find the one closest to the stock size. My battery is pretty damn big(2nd owner, dunno if Panasonic batteries are stock). I've got an optima redtop from my last vehicle (87 s10 blazer) just sitting in my closet because its so much smaller than the battery in my car. I would think that as long as you use the battery tiedown and are faily close to stock size it shouldn't slide around.

The Panasonic is stock. Some people have yellow tops installed. I do, but mine's in the trunk anyway. Personally I don't see why extending the lines would be such a problem though.

i never said extending the lines were a problem, its just that im planning on getting my next speakers fiberglassed in so theyre not so easy to remove and steal. it will also look better for shows.

I didn't mean for you specifically. But I don't see what the speakers have to do with the yellow top in the engine bay? Iono, man. Do you know anyone who has a yellow top? Maybe you could get the measurements online, take a peak at a friend's terminals, and see if it works?

No no, I just meant extending the wire or putting another 0 gauge from the terminal/distributor block so that it could reach the battery. for Trunk could be done too, but I know a lot of people don't go for that. I'd avoid the trunk if you're serious about showing/audio, but just purely asthetic reasons. Anyway, it may take a little work, but if the physical dimensions are ok, I'm sure you can make it work.

The new import size Optima came out with is for Hondas. I would try putting the fullsize in your car to see it works. They aren't supposed to fit Eclipses or Galants either, but I got them in mine.
