Lightbulb New side markers for '03-'06 Lancers

Good find, but a little pointless.......Lancer comes with side markers.

Cars are required by law to have side markers. They only light amber because of the bulbs though. The stock ones are clear (at least on the '02's for certain).

03's too. Change the bulb and that's it. I didn't know cars are required to have side markers. What about eclipse? They don't have it!

They count indicators visible from the side as welll. You're right in that it's not a side marker per se, but the point being if you're turning left the NHTSA requires that someone with an absolutely dead-on side view be able to see your indicator.

So our side lights in the headlight assembly could be a side marker too.

Stupid mitsubishi, why did they have to have side markers and the reflectors on the bumper??????? It's not a bicycle!

I guess that's cool. Personally I don't see it as a notable improvement, but then again I've never been the type of guy to care whether his sidemarkers were shining crystal clear either.

Props on finding a new product just the same.

?? wierd.. our sidemarkers are clear anyways already.. its just crystalized.. if it was amber.. that would be somethin new..

You guys can't tell the difference....They look alot clearer then our stocks...I think it's more then lense cover that makes it looke different.
