What mount type does an 04 ES Lancer have on its INTERIOR lights?

What mount type does a 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer ES have for its interior lights? By this i mean the little light on the middle of the roof of the car inside, and exactly how would i go about taking the little plastic cover off to replace the bulbs? I searched around a little bit and i cant seem to find anything.

Thanks in advance.

I have an 03 lancer and i simply used the tip of the screwdriver to pop up the cover, check with Z Lancer Man on this forum about the lights, he has them on his site for a good price also.

I changed mine to blue and just took off the cover with my pocket knife. A screwdriver would work too tho. If you want a pic of the part out of the roof I'll see if i can find one.

The bulb size will be in your owner's manual as well, but the size is a 3175 dome bulb. As mentioned above, the dome cover pops off very easily with a screwdriver or knife. Towards the switch you will notice a small space where you can insert the tool pop off the cover.

the gauges come out really easy. all you have to do is take off the black trim piece(2 screws), and then 3 screws on the gauges and unplug them. its really easy.

^^ What he said The gauge cluster is really easy to get out. Takes me less than 5 minutes. But then, I've learned how to jiggle it out the right way. Otherwise, you have to work at it for a bit to figure it out.

Also, I've got 2 sets of ES/LS needles ready to convert and ship out to the lucky buyer
