upgrades for 2003 lancer ES?

I have a 2003 lancer ES and want to do some upgrades on it like putting on a performance muffler and other things but i don't know what brands or type i should get or what would be a good fit for my car and have a good sound to it?? any suggestions? and what other things could i do to my car besides rims, tires, spoiler, or interior neon lights which i am in the process of doing...and any good places or websites i can go to get these things?

Search, you're not the first person to upgrade their 2003 Lancer and there is a lot of info on this site. Start with this FAQ.

as Amby said but you can start at
road race motorsports. They have a little bit of everything for the car and are a good company to deal with.

alright cool thanks...i'll definitely check it out.
I've been looking at andy's auto sport website do you know if that's a reputable site? they seem to have a lot of good products on it or at least that's what it seems like.
and what kind of muffler do you have on your lancer? i'm just asking around to get an idea of what mufflers people are using on their cars

It's a muffler, if you're just buying a muffler, it will need to be welded onto the stock piping thus it doesn't make a difference what brand or kind you get. If you're looking for a bolt-on system, you need a full catback and there are lots of options for that. Search.

I have a Magnaflow 2.25" cat-back exhaust that I ordered from Road Race. I got it cause it has a very stock look to it and a real low tone unless wide open. Been really happy with it. Havnt dealt with Andys so I cant really say.

andy's auto sport has a really bad reputation if you look at reviews on google which i neglected to do b4 i placed an expensive order. i ordered my seibon carbon fiber hood, trunk, and front lip for my rx-8 thru them and had to keep calling and calling to get my stuff but once i finally received it the product was very good.

alright thanks guys. i guess even though andy's auto sport has a lot of products and seems to look like they know what their doing doesn't mean they've got a good reputation...so thanks for the heads up. and the road race motorsports place seems to have some quality mitsubishi products so thanks. and i know the muffler has to be welded on cause you have to cut the stock muffler off first, and than weld the new one on i just wasn't sure if a better or different brand would create a better or different tone from the muffler. how do you gauge where to cut the old muffler at and weld the new one on at? just to make sure...
