Well this will be my last post due to some recent events. I'll post my response to the pm i got from the mod that banned me after this. To all i've assisted and to all that i've been able to benefit it has been a pleasure.

To all that dislike me, don't care, don't know me... well guess you never will either.

Hopefully someone will step up and be able to continue keeping certain members honest and truthful. I'm not going to erase all the info i've shared as that would no be fair... i'm just really pissed and don't feel i have any heart left to offer this site since certain members just can't be honest. For now i'm done... take care all i'll miss the site.

Nice that a policy gets implemented and loosly enforced on others but strict on me.

There are several posts where members combat/ call eachother out/ and so forth using profanity and name calling. The thread usually gets closed but thus far i've seen none banned.

Instead i get banned. Thus i'm saying goodbye to this ****. Instead of answering a ****ton of pms and helping people... answering tons of the SAME QUESTIONS over and over agian instead of yelling and flaming to use the search function, instead of trying to keep people honest and full of integrity i'm going to tell you to go **** yourself and remove all titles/all info/disable the account permanently!

I'm done playing this ***** foot game with you guys and your i'm buds with this guy, i hate you, back stabbing bs. To think there's been time's i've assisted you yourself with ****. Wish i could take that back.

As of now i'm just going to start looking up my posts and start editing. I'm going to erase all info i can until everything is shut down. (this was said in anger and i'm not going to do it as it wouldn't be just and fair to others.)

Memo from Blacksheepdj (the guy who banned Boe) - Boe was banned last week. He just got back. So everyone can stop talking about "overruling the ban" or my actions today. It's over and done with. Boe is just now deciding to publicly complain, now that he's back.

 

? Seems kinda odd to leave just outta this, especially considering how much you've contributed to this site. You've helped me out a lot with various problems (like my whole engine woopser). If you're actually serious its truly a sad day when the best of evom are leaving, and I'm sure you'll be dearly missed within a week.

i remember back in the day boe was like an evom top dog, and even accompanied road///race. i cant believe this, first of all he should be a mod, secondly whoever banned him should be banned themself, he was/is always in my eyes the BIGGEST positive influence on evom, and always lent a helping hand, always. he was probably one of the first members(which means he was here longer than the mod that banned him) and shouldnt even be allowed to be suspended/banned, i dont care what the rules are, that is pure BS, and i stand behind boe 110%. i dont care what he said, he's helped soooo much he wouldve had to say bad stuff for like a yr. before i would even consider banning him.

this is also y i am only on this site maybe once or twice a month anymore, i just cant stand some of the power happy people on here. not u blacksheepdj, i always got along with u and if i recall may have bought or sold something from ya?

Wow boe, sounds like you lost your cool for a sec there. You really helped alot in this site. Very knowledgeable and know your stuff well. Hate to see you go bud. I guess you can lose your cool sometimes when you're dealing with people not on your level. Anyway, thanks alot with all your help.

 

It is a shame that everything that was once good about this site is soon breaking down. I'm sure Mark (KK) would have never intended it to end up this way when he first made this website.

 

Well I thoguht Boe was a more mature person but if he can't even handle some unjust and unfair practices done by one mod, I guess he needs to do what he needs to do. Sorry to see you go, best wishes.

 

I know MARK would have NEVER allowed this to happen. Damn Boe... i'll ask you not to go but if you do please remember a lot of us do care and hold you in very high regard.

Sure he would have. Moderators act independently much of the time. Problem like this can be fixed (or whatever) by appealing to a higher court so to speak. Contacting another Moderator, a Super Moderator, or an Admin is a good way to address inequities. Unless things have changed since I left, many bans are not done by committee (while it does lead to some mistakes it also is an effective means to administer bans). The system will never be perfect, but through discussion, criticism and praise it becomes a lot easier to get closer to it.

 

thats messed up. i got 3 warnings and you still havent banned me. to be honest im like out of control and boe gets banned. i guess i havent been on this site too much with a lot of the crap going on.

he hasnt even been driving a lancer and he still helps you guys out.

i havent seen him say anything bad, only good crap.

 

I'm pretty sure that would earn you one. As for boe, I know he's been in heated arguments before, but I can't think of any that were grounds for banning. As for GP, he's a hell of a nice guy too if you ask me.

They're both nice guys, as long as you don't mix them and mention the name RRM. Seems like a lot of people have been getting banned lately, Akasirlancelot is still gone, not sure if he's even being allowed back.

 

Punk - rules have been changed recently, so only 4 people can ban.

I can't ban you for what you said, but I can sure as hell suggest you be banned for violating a rule.

PS - if you guys don't like me, I'm sorry. Nobody likes the cops, especially the people who break the law.
