First off I am sorry that Boe has chosen to walk this line. I read and posted in the eventual thread that his infraction occurred. If you read around the board lately though where you see Boe you also see another member posting usually before him I believe. The arguments or disagreements on topics were becoming more and more heated leading to this incident.
Being banned for a week is not such a bad thing. I'd call it a time out. Time out to reflect on if it is really worth it to continue trying to convince others that your opinion or experience is greater than theirs. As someone else said before you just need to learn to agree to disagree and leave it at that.
Boe has helped me out too and I even bought stuff from him.
Some of us just need to chill and learn to let stuff go.

You guys are missing something here. Both Boe and GreenPhysco have been warned a few times for their constant fighting. There have been a ton of threads that have ventured way off topic to feed into their addiction for not liking each other. The Ban was done because of what Boe said. Sure there have been other people to break the rules but it comes down to a few things. For instance, if someone reports a post (not saying anyone did because I dont know) then that post will be read by a moderator. Therefor it has more of a chance of being seen. Boe broke the rules and had to pay the price, it is unfortunate that he took it as a personal attack on himself because that is not what it was from what I understand from the situation. Hopefully he changes his mind and stays but only he can make that decision.

Now you come on and wake up. Read the last 2 years of Boe's post. You will find anger and disrespect in most of them. Yeah Boe is a guru... doesn't give him the right disrespect other people and/or other people's opinions. If people had reported more of his posts, he would have been banned a dozen times.

OK, I love Boe. I've gone to him for advice countless times over the years.
But I wouldn't say Boe built the Lancer Tech section by himself. That's an insult to all the other helpful folks that paved the way, like Hobie and Alchemist (for examples).

(ya i got your back on that one) Hey we've all been in pissing fights on forums, everyone blows there top at some point. At this point i think everyone sees that we want Boe back. The rules were broken, the rules were followed, hes had his punishment, now lets focus on making Boe realize that we all will really miss him and his knowledge if he goes. Rock do you know if Boe is reading all these posts asking him to stick around with us ?

So Boe is taking his ball and going home because it just isn't fair? Guess what, life is that way and you can either deal with it maturely and own the mistake you made and abide by the rules or you can go.

All I think is that Boe is a very significant person in EVOM community, and it sux he has to go. He said he's gone so just leave it alone, if he will come back then it's great, if not we'll still be here.
