what's even more interesting is that after talking to BOE he states that he reported the post himself as getting out of hand and asked for a mod to delete his own posts and edit as necessary.
IS THIS TRUE!! Seems the mods should be able to find some record of his report. He said he clicked on the report bad post link so it should be visible to many.
If in fact he did think it was going to far and getting out of hand and reported it himself then there is NO WAY he should have been banned.

i know it's the internet buts it's also a serious place for enthusiasts to learn. If a person got banned even though they where the ones asking for the altercation to be corrected by a MOD then that's just wrong!

I doubt this as you cannot report your own posts. Like I said before I dont know absoultly everything but even if that did happen (although I doubt it did) it is too late now. Not like you can take back a week Ban.
I think Boe is taking this too hard. It was a temp Ban, no big deal.

So many people treat RRM like gods but the lack of professionalism (and maturity) in their posts is ridiculous. Once upon a time I was going to buy a turbocharger from these guys, but I changed my mind after reading the boards for a few months. I'm sure their business practices have made them good money with other people, but they scared me the hell away.
