Exhaust Magnaflow or DC Sports Catback
i recently just installed the greddy evo 2 on to my OZ and it was one of the easiest installs ive done. i havnt had it on long but its been on a couple 3 hour long car trips and i havnt seen any problems. it sticks out just enough that i dont think itll burn but it doesnt stick out a bunch. its not too loud either its just a nice deep sound. you wont get tired of it either. i agree with import speedzz also, american and japanese dont belong together. id go with the greddy
i wanna go greddy but if it burns the bumper of an ES im almost positive it would burn on the OZ....i really dont wanna cut my bumper to make an exhaust fit.....thats kinda ricey IMO
i didnt have to cut mine. its got a some room left to wiggle n giggle as well. i dont like the looks of the magna flow one either, but thats just me. hope you dont make a mistake with whatever you decide to do though.
i no i will get $hit for this but i went with an Ebay universal mufffler, because i just didnt have the money and wasnt concerned about performance. i actually really like the way it sounds, suprisingly. its not like crazy ricer loud, buts its loud enough for someone else to hear you comming. total cost was about $100 with install(paid 60 for costome pipe and welding) Dont no if thats the route you were looking to take but thought i could throw out the option for u.
I had the same question on which one to get. After reading this thread, I know now that i'm going save to get the greddy evo2 for my 03 ES... Anyway chewie you should get the greddy since that the one you want. I don't remember but I do think someone makes a heat sheild for the bumper, someone correct me if i'm wrong. Good luck
and post some pics when you pick one and get it installed.
