update on japanese lancer/cedia

A little update on Japanese Lancer Cedias:
they have almost the exact same engine bay. engine is differnt but use same spark plugs. intake was the exact same..the engine is the only difference. i got to look at a GDI engine..yes the eco friendly one. not much to say, its GDI. i think the interior might be different, the ceiling was higher or maybe the floor was lower..but i know that my hair wasnt hitting the ceiling too much. trunk is same, back seat still has the cup holders, from the outside its the same exact car. i belive the back door is differnt too. it:s a little roomier because it indents in a little bit.

i think japan has differnt bulb sizes also. the cedia uses H4 bulbs in japan and it may be the equivalent of the HB5 or 9007 in the US, ill be able to find out once i get to install the pair of PIAA 4700k bulbs i got. i was gonna get the 7400k bulbs but it`ll probably be illegal in the US.

there are barely any differences, just the engine and the occasional interior decor. if anyone has questions, just ask and i might be able to answer anything about this car.

good news is i found out stuff abou this car, but bad news is that no one tunes up cedias in japan, they`re too busy tuning vans, skylines, silvias, and imprezas.

thats about it, like i said before, just ask if u have any questions!
-Bob

When I was in Japan, I couldn't believe how many vans I saw with body kits, it was unreal. However I did get to see quite a few evos, subies, and skylines, which was very nice.

Definitely not ES, LS, OZ, but the Ralliart wagon has been highly discussed. There are also AWD variants of the Cedia.
