$30,000 for a new Evo 6.5 Makinen Edition

Thanks to all who have responded on the Evo's for $30,000. They are all spoken for now. We will post soon on the remaining EVO 6.5's that are left and of course there are still the EVO 7's coming too! We are just as excited as anyone about having these cars street legal in the U.S.

Now, if this is true, it's a bargain!!! With a Motec ECU means that you can convert the car back to it's normal potential and more if you want at a very cheap price. And of course the question is whether the cars are new, but even if they were a little used, it shouldn't be a problem.

One thing, they wouldn't be the first to own a streetlegal Evo in the US, there are some there already, although I doubt their papers will state that they actually are Evo's

When do people have to pay for these? Before or after the car is in the country/certified etc.? I would never pay more than a small down payment until I have seen my car in person.

If this is true it´s really a bargain ... because the car costs about $38.000 in Sweden with standard ECU ...

Are they new or used? If used, how many miles?

Is a red one with decals available?

They are LHD. To sum up:

-Evo 6.5 TME RS-II (LHD Model)
-Silver, Black, or Red w/ decals
-Brand New
-$30,000
-Street Legal

I got this info straight from Adam.

A few questions:

what kind of DOT classification? (limited mileage or DOT legal)

is the paperwork complete from the DOT?

is there a contract that's reviewable that states what your getting, warranty, delivery, DOT legal, mechanical condition, etc.?

can the Swedish title be reviewed?

why are these cars 30k and the rest that they're going to sell 45k?

For those who bought them, can you show us your paperwork when that time comes? I am interested in seeing the statement of conformity especially. I would like to see what had to change.

Hello there,

I am very fortunate to be one of the few lucky ones who were able to get this deal through Evolution Imports.

When the time comes, I will try and show the paperwork to those interested. I will keep in touch.

This is my 1st post here, and looking forward to some serious fun with the TME soon, hopefully

Karl
