theres a whole slew of colors that you can put on. anywhere from metallic to neon colors. its really up to you but in my opinion black tint is the only way to go. a guy once told me, if u have a dark car, dont get metallic, it looks funny when its pitch black out and u see 2 windows pass you at in interection
lol

No you don't have to get it done at a dealership. I've gotten it done to my car but never done it. I've heard the only way to go is to let an expert do it and not fool around with the Pep Boys/Autozone stuff. Mine was about $150 for four windows and the back but I did have little connection. I was quoted at another place for $200 for the 3M brand that was resistant to amonia which I didn't think was bad at all...

I wouldn't try it yourself unless you've done it before, or your doing more than one car.

I payed $200 for a local graphics shop to do it. Mitsu charges around $250 to do it at my dealership

Most dealers outsource it to someone else. Just go to a local tint/car audio shop and deal with them yourself.

Smoke or platinum is the only tint I have owned. I think colors and that fading mystic smoke to platnium stuff is nasty/ricey looking.

Just got it done this past weekend at an Audio Shop for $185. All 4 windows and a 1 piece in the back. They used a company called SolarGuard. Lifetime warranty. No ammonia cleaning products can be used though. I went with a buddy who wanted his car done too. Struck a deal for 185 (usually 215) and we paid in cash.
