I got a letter yesterday. It is telling to take the letter to my local dealership and they will order me a new one at no charge.
I am glad that this is not going to be a hassle. Sometimes it pays to be patient and calm.

I agree it needs to be recalled. I can think of it this way, they had to give me two jacks for free.
I have replaced the the new jack already with something a little bit stronger. I just wanted to see if I could get Mitsubishi to replace my jack.
