I am going to get the pulley here soon... but just reading this I noticed that you said you got a better response after your ECU reset? I put on a Greddy Evo2 Cat and K&N Short ram without doing this..... would I notice a difference if I did? or just letting it idle for a bit would do the trick?
What you want to do is this.
Unplug your battery (negative terminal only).
Let it sit for a while.
Replug it. Make sure your clock and radio stations have all reset (means the battery was completely unhooked long enough).
Turn on the car, and let it idle for 15 to 20 minutes. This will let the ECU learn the new air/fuel situation. That way, it can learn it peacefully, at idle. If you try to teach it while driving, you might have problems (one time my battery got unplugged at work. I just replugged it and headed home. Car stalled at EVERY stoplight.)
