oz4g94 where did you say those grommets came from ? Are those homedepot pieces ?

 

i haven't bought any yet, but you can get them from home depot. they make them in many different styles, but all that i could find came in black and white only (black should work fine for you). they are more of like a plug, than a grommet.

 

these are not screw sized holes, they are about the size of a penny. will bondo still work? or will there be cracking

 

bondo should still work, but you may need to use some fiberglass too.

 

are there any fiberglass tutorials anywhere?

how do i do this? do i just stick that fiberglass in the hole with resin on it? haha

you can fiberglass the outside of the hole only (which will be a much larger area). or you can fiberglass the inside and then fill the hole with bondo, sand the bondo, and paint over it (which you can probably use touch up paint and it won't be that noticeable).

 

I picked up some plugs from kragen the other day. They dont seem to fit... I ended up putting my wing back on..
