Does anyone know how does a burnt HID look like? One of my bulbs stopped working, but it doesn't seem like it blew at all by looking from the outside.

Does it look just like any other burnt halogen bulb?

how can i test out the ballast?

 

well since you said it's only one bulb that doesn't work, try taking the switching the bulb out w/ the one that works and see what happens. If it doesn't turn on, that means the ballast could be gone or it's not connected properly. Make sure its grounded accordingly cause if not, it won't work.
