it just depends, if you have an auto you have to get non intercooled b/c the intercooler/ piping won't fit, if you have a 5 speed then the intercooled would fit. If you're not planning on running more than 6 or 7 lbs of boost (which is about a good safe level for the lancer) then you don't need an intercooler. but if you want to run higher amounts of boost, like liquidlancer who was running like 10 psi at one point, then you'll need an intercoooler. thats just pretty much a real basic rundown

the intercooled is just fine, it's the same exact kit just no intercooler, you just can't run more than like 6 or 7psi, and it is possible to intercool an auto, i know road race did it once for mitsubishi but from what I hear it was a pain in the *** and rob told me he wouldn't want to do it again, you can run a search for it if you want I'm sure theres a post about it here somewhere. actually you can probably just run a search for all this info considering we're going way off topic......Congrats on the new mods and install, I myself have another wave coming in as well including cf hood, cf grill, and probably throttle body

I was told you can't run more than 5lbs of boost with an auto, but even at that, a Lancer with an auto, non-intercooled turbo, test pipe and axle back is putting right around 175 h/p at the wheels, not shabby at all. With my mods, i'm getting around 105-110 h/p at the wheels.
