Ok I have to be harsh here because I don't see evidence that you're understanding what some of us are telling you....

I can't tell jack from that video. tire shots are worthless to tell me how your *** end is doing in turns and all of the video from a distance is out of focus so badly that you're just a red blob so I can't see what the car is doing or your approach, etc. I also didn't see any markings on those tires to indicate if you're rolling on the sidewalls. Mount a camera on the roof above the rearview mirror and have footage from the sideline that is in focus

Stop spending money on stuff that won't really make you faster (like an evo 7 wing). spend it instead on track time OR the stickiest tires your class will allow you to run. I'm not faster because of mods, I'm faster because I'm learning how to drive this car at its true limit. Go out there and focus on driving on Sunday and make so many notes on your coursemap that you forget it's got little dots all over it. Between runs, when you're checking your pressures and spraying down your IM and radiator to keep it cool, go over the course in your head- what was good? What was really bad? Where were you sloppy and just need to react sooner? Talk to the old timers and say "hey, I'm having trouble in this spot- what would you recommend?" some guys are a-holes, others will write a book for you. Don't bother the second type of guy until he becomes the first type

Good points. That was the first day there. A friend in my club came down and set up his camera on the car to get some shots. He edited three runs together to make a cool video is all. The blury shots were because he arrived and I was on the start gate so he wipped out the camera and it wasnt set right. Next time hopefully I can get better video of what the car is actually doing.

I do car shows as well so having mods that stood out and also were helpful in performance was my goal. Thats part of the reason I just went with carbon fiber parts. This sunday is where im gonna put what ive learned into effect. I havnt done a autox since then.

Ill do better for you next time. haha

snoogens + demised- thanks for the comments.

Keep track of how far you are behind the leader- I want to see some 3 second improvements by the end of season!!

Im about 7.1xx seconds off the leader in the SM class. Which is also the fastest time of the day that isnt a kart I do believe. It was a CRX..... fast lil thing. haha

Hmm... ok a 1.7 improvement (3's gonna be hard to do if the leader is a CRX). Is that person consistently the leader?

We'll get you all trained up

Yeah. He is in 1'st place in the class in all the standings I checked. haha. 4'th place was about 1.5 seconds ahead of me in the class. I placed 5'th out of 7 in the SM class. Im sure next time I could do better then the 1.5 seconds. We will just have to see.

6'th was a completely stripped neon with motor mods and 7'th was a celica gts.

I got the typical from the neon "I dont think a car should look faster then it is." (of course when we first talked he thought my car was a EVO.)
My goal that day was to beat his time and I did. haha

There are two cars going at once. Theres a real sharp turn (left hander about half way through). Once a car gets to that point they start another usually. so the toyota was just finishing. haha

In the video where im way down the track and the car looks like a "red blob" you hear tires screaching. Thats the toyota I do believe at the finish.
