Where did my dashboard go!?!?!?

lol, now that i have your attention, i just took my entire dashboard off today, and want to repaint it all black. my origional plan is to spray paint it using some interior paint from autozone

not too long ago i saw some guy with an oz remove his and put in a material type dashboard which looked pretty cool. anyone know where to get one or for how much? any other ideas of what i should do from here (other than just sand and paint)? thanx

I didn't paint it blue, the previous owner did :P and he did a crappy job

this is what the doors look like after i painted them, what do you guys think because this is prolly what the whhole thing will look like in the end

doors don't look too bad, and I wouldn't try sanding too much off the dash, there's a little foam underneath the textured vinyl

Sand it enouph for primer to stick and paint it either white or black primer (depending on what color your doing). at least two coats. then paint over the primer.

i used, i think white primer (or was it grey)? anyway i didnt know there was a black primer, should i look for that since the paint will be black?

also, the blue/white paint on there now is chipping off, should i sand it to the point where the paint is all off or....

as long as you can't see it through the final coat of paint you're ok
