Angry Daytime Running Light 06 O.Z

I've been searching and all i can find is owners of RA's and other years talking about DRL in Canada or whatever, just want to know how the hell can we turn off the DRL in US, say....Hawaii. F*ck, i hate DRL, **** me off. haha. i just don't like it cuz i gotta turn off my car just to get a pic without my lights on. CAN ANYBODY HELP ME DISCONNECT/TURN OFF THE DRL ON AN 06 O.Z.???

anybody who helps me will get some bazooka bubble gum.

You can't "turn them off" - you can only rewire them. And if you have to ask how, you probably shouldn't try it...

Oh no you have to turn off the car to take pics! Quickly lets get rid of a feature that's been shown to reduce accidents.

True that. Some people just don't get it...

Maybe he wants to sneak into the driveway. Can't do it with lights on...

Try smashing them! That'll get rid of those pesky day lights. Those damn, dirty daytime running lights...

That works. I know of write-ups on Subarus (they've been unhooking DRLs since 2002), but I'm not sure how well it would translate to Lancers.

Must be a new feature for the '06. My '05 OZ doesn't have DRL.

yeah i have a 06 and I hate the day time runners, and I went to a drive in movie theater and it sucks when you turn your car on because it gets cold, and you want to warm up and your lights turn on to and pulling the e brake does not turn them off

Is there just a fuse associated with them, if so just pull that otherwise i guess you will have to rewire

My old car there was a little screw on the headlight switch which you could turn to adjust the DRL setting...I turned mine off...screw DRL...you don't need them they are only standard in canada because they SUCK!!!!

You're the kind of person that I hope gets into an accident. Natural selection...
