Ya thats why I went back to Good old Mobil one! Its a good synthetic. the only reason I use the synthetic is because I am hard on the car. Not even sure I need synthetic oil either!

Pulley, intake and piggyback all help with mileage. I am sure others can attest to it.

Yes I can attest that the PB was the biggest on the MPG and free flowing is always the best

i think RRM released a new map that is best with 89, before you used to have to use 89 or better. i use 93 in my v.1 (that i bought from adam actually!).

any questions you have you can ask rock, he's a great guy and will be able to answer 'em.

Good news. The newsest maps for RA or regular Lancer will all run on 87 octane safely! Just enjoy without spending extra cash for higher grade fuel and the piggybacks actually will give you slightly better mileage. Ask Piggy owners, not me.

Not true. Gains come from more effient fuel mapping! Stock fuel map is whacked for many reason that suit Mitsu and does not allow for the full performance potential of the engine, especially if you have some mods.

I agree with that. When you put a wideband, you can how you run rich. (Arround 11.0 afr near 6000 rpm). You can run 12.5 afr with 87 octane if I remember exactely.

I run this AFR with my tuning and 87 octane with no problem in my case, but no car are identical.

Thats what i tuned for was 12.7
So the deal for the rear seats did not happen. Oh well. On to better things I guess. I am still looking for a Limited Slip Differential. I think after that I will be finished.

Adam- if you want to stay in FSP then you can't modify the engine internals, no cam, no pistons. I have a stage 2 cam and that is the mod that bumped me into E Prepard and I've had to play lawyer with everyone who has a copy of the rulebook (which is why I hate SCCA classing. There's gotta be an easier way!) but I'm not about to get rid of the cam Check the rules on adding LSD, too, it may move you places you don't want to go (I don't have the rulebook in front of me and I wouldn't have time to figure it out at work anyway, I'm going home in 3 hours )

LSDs are A-OK in FSP. Otherwise, I'd be screwed of course. I could upgrade all my diffs if I had the funds, but alas, I'll have to settle for only 3 wheels sticking to the ground this year. ;-P

Thanks for the input EP would be scary! I know LSD's are OK in FSP but I think that would be the end of the road on moding it!

my freiend and i dont understand how a cold air intake helps gas milage? if anything it makes it worse because it brings more air into your engine which creates a bigger af ratio right?
