Once I drove the evo....I had to go home in it! Truly one of the best cars I have ever driven. I drive my evo everyday more than a hundred miles a day. Sometime 200 miles!
2005 GSR That I have has 31,000 on it as of today. I have made 10 payments on it...lol.

yeah we all know the evo is great but can you afford one. if selling you lancer is only gonna get you something in the same power/performance bracket, then whats the point.
thats why i'm keeping mine. sure theres a million better cars out there but for ten grand with low miles and in good shape. its pretty much all the same.

Wait, $30,000 on top of the cost of the car? Either way you could have had an Evo.

30k on an es and you are running 200whp you should have either gotten an evo or easily beefed up the internals with a turbo and kicked some serious butt!

Yeah 30k$ sounds a little high. Pics of the car would be nice.

I traded my ES , couldn't afford a EVO so I got the Ralliart. Will pay it off & Turbo it in xmas. @250HP & 265 Torque not bad.

Um Im not clear on that statement cuz it sounds like ur classifying the lancer in the same category as the EVO. If you are you dont have any and I mean any Idea of what an EVO can do. Saying a lancer and an EVO is in the same class is like comparing chocolate to sh** (no offense to lancer owners I own an OZ Im just stating the facts).

Man if you can get into an EVO without having suck down water and bread for the rest of your life do it. Ask any previous Lancer owner here who has traded up to an EVO about the awakening they experience, the huge difference between the cars, and the almost endless potential the EVO has for modding.

hmm..

The way I see it. I'm almost done paying my lancer. And sometimes I think twice about getting an Evo. First off, they're expensive. 2nd, they're expensive to maintain... parts etc.

and 3rd.... The Interiors are Identical...lol. SO it's like I'm leaving mine to sit in the same thing all over again. You guys get my drift? It tends to get boring after 5 yrs. lol...

( yes i know... Power power power..)

Should have got the evo, but since you already poured so much cash into this. Why not a little bit more. I wouldnt spend over 5 grand more. Parting and selling seems to be the better idea. At least you might get at most 15 grand and go buy yourself a new reliable car.

ps i dont ever think your car is ever gonna be reliable i mean think of all the things that could go wrong with your car, especially with the mods. Grab a nice mazda 3, tc, 06 civic, or something.
