Are you racing this car? If so you also need to mount that harness to an elevated mid-point unless you want to compress your spine in an accedent.

I'd argue that seats are a must. And if this car isn't a show car why does it have to be presentable?

I consider race cars to be presentable. not necessarily car show quality, but I appreciate any car with lots of engine work made for racing. Just my taste. Don't worry about looks if thats not what you're going for.

If you're gonna get harnesses you need a roll bar as well. A harness bar won't work nor will mounting the harnesses to the back seats.

A harness bar is not a suitable form of protection, what happens if the roof collapses? The harness bar won't stop the roof from crushing you since if you are wearing harnesses you will be stuck in an upright position. If you're doing this for show, fine, but then you're just a ricer. Don't waste your money on a product that won't actually do anything. I think the autopower 4 point roll cage is about the same price as a harness bar anyways.

yeah definately want to see pics. And the harness bar has nothing to do with a roll cage. Its a HARNESS BAR, made for if you are using a harness. A roll cage doubles as protection all the way around as well as a harness bar.

A harness bar is not a suitable thing to use with harnesses, the risk is simply too high. Yes it is called a harness bar, but it offers no protection in the case of a roll over. Simply think about it, what happens in a stock car when you roll? The roof caves in and the stock seats and stock 3-point harness allow the occupants to move towards the inside of the car. Now what happens if you have a bar behind you with harnesses attached? The bar won't allow the seat to shift back if that allows for the best way to get out of danger and the harnesses hold both the seat and the driver in an upright position. Now then, what will happen when that roof caves in? Your neck and spine will snap like a twig.
Simply put, harness bars are not a good idea. If you want more info look in the motor sports section. There is a reason why harness bars are not allowed in any form of racing.
