Powersteering fluid

Is everone a bit low on powersteering fluid? In alot of pics i have seen ppl low on fluid. so i went to check mine. sure enough its a bit low. Is this normal for lancers?

I'm sure it's normal. Know why? Because none of us every check ours.

I can honestly say that in 10 years of owning cars, I've probably checked the PS fluid once.

yes, My fluid tends to go down after a few months. If you decide to put some more into the little bottle, make sure you go with the STuff the dealer sells!

Oh yea, you can actually tell it's low just by driving. The wheel tends to be a bit stiffer than usual. I know I can feel it.

if it's low--fill it up and it won't be low anymore.

anywhere inside of the MAX and MIN lines is fine, but when you start dropping below the MIN that means you ought to add some fluid, probably check your lines and/or pump as well.

LOL Not quite what i meant when i posted this but thanx all the same. I was just wondering if it was a Lancer thing or ive just happened to see engine bay pics of all the ones with low PS fluid.

Yeah all I can say is that everytime I wash my car I check the fluids just becomes a habit after a while.

The dealership here doesn't care. As shown in many threads, it the auto tranny fluid you have to get from there.

I use Redline for all mu fluids and I'm cool.
