A2 designs, Something's Gotta Give
I'm not saying it can't be done. I'm saying that when a shady individual is selling parts in a shady way, he probably didn't bother to get proper legal authorization.
Not to be rude, but please read what I'm saying because your reply had nothing to do with the intent of my post.
I fully understand that. But your wife is mature enough and responsible enough that she probably wouldn't screw her customers and then stop answering the phone, correct?

I was just trying to point out that we really dont know what happened. Perhaps he had financial problems or maybe family or physical problems. We really dont know.
I honestly feel bad for the guy. For whatever reason he was not able to build and maintain his business. Personally i would rather have a sucessful business (if barely) then screw ppl over for a few quick bucks. I almost hope that he had problems instead of screwing ppl over.
Im sorry about my reply.

I never even believed his problems. When he said he got a bad air tank while diving, my buddy teaches scuba diving and said its really rare to get a bad tank of air...its air. Then the next month stuff went bad again so he gets mugged. I'm surprised nothing else happened after that. My bank doesn't have any branches out here in San Antonio so I have to wait till monday when I go back to school to get into my bank to make my claim. I'll let you guys know how it goes. Maybe I'll do a how-to for getting your money back from people like this for those that have never dealt with it before.

Blacksheep you are correct he probably did not bother to register. I just thought it was worth a shot considering he put up a website broadcasting his new business. although it doesn't seem he has much respect for the law, so you are prob right

So has he responded or mailed anything to ANYONE recently? I remember someone saying they knew someone who got a response from him when they wanted to buy something and I just received my second manifold. Is he just mailing s--- out that he owes them slowly or what?
I hate to say it but these shops that are on the side are almost always like this, well at least the ones I've dealt with in the past. A lot of the time they go from shop to shop avoiding people and forget getting them on the phone you would have a better chance of getting god on the line.
We just got DemisedGabe's A2 manifold here to port. I have it in my office. It is a totally stock, spray painted inside and out manifold from a Mirage junkyard. You can see where he left the hoses on there and just cut them off. It has not been ported, surfaced or anything. Scandalous at best. I will post some before and after pics of it.

Advertising helps, but meh... If a business is serious about the lancer market, then they'll have to build a couple lancers, at their expense.. And post some quarter miles, show winnings, and some cool photos. If you want to do this right, then you gotta front some money and go big... Or else buddy, just go home.
