Oh wait, that's what I'm doing. LOL
Super +1

I had an '89 Civic Hatch. Gutted with full tank of gas and driver it was only 1750lbs. Mine was built for AutoX not drag but i can see how it would be good for it. You can get one of those cars for less then 5k

Here you go. Ready for 12sec.

You have a very good point there, but that's why I bought the cars I did. The Lancer is the hawtness, the Civic is the fastness! Looking to the be turbo'd by next winter pushing near 350 whp on a D-series Z6. About 2100 lbs with the turbo kit I'd guess. 12 second passes with 14" x7 rims with Mickeys. DD BTW! LOL

In all honesty i really miss my '89 HB. I had to get rid of it because i kinda, sorta cracked the block.

5k into a '89 to '91 Civic hb will make a monster. LS/VTEC with a T3/T4 = scary fast.

Well the LSD would help a lot since you'd actually be getting all the power to the ground. With some bolt ons (intake manifold, TB, exhaust, test pipe) and a tune (using RRM V1 piggyback, emanage, whatever) you might be hitting 13s.
