well im done with the lancer for awhile. i got home today and decided to change my sparkplugs, while doing this i realized that 3 bolts on my head were loose enough for me to turn them with my hand. i tightened them and then i drove around the corner and when i pulled back into the drive way the car was idling really bad like it was about to cut off. i got out to check the trottle cable cuz i had loosened it and took it out off of the throttle body and then realized that my head was pouring oil out of one side. but i still couldnt figure out why it was idleing the way it was. hmm i guess im going to take to the shop in the morning
. sucks too i just got a new job

Idle is bad because extra air is getting in under the valve cover. Allowing the PCV valve not to work properly. if you pull the line off the PCV valve it will idle like crap. This is in essence what is happening there is not enough vacuum to close the line. Get yourself a new gasket. The torque is only like 5 foot lbs not to tight and dont make the mistake I made and just tighten in random order. Start in the middle and work your way out.
should be no problem. Just mae sure you have enough oil to make it. It is an easy fix you should not have to bring it to a shop. your in Bama are you in T-town? I went to school there. I know some good shops down there.
im in montgomery. um the dealer i bought my car from will fix it for me he may charge me lol. but it needs a couple of other things as well. and id rather not mess anything else up. ill probly buy the gasket and take it to him myself lol. that may save me some.
