Anyone else find it incredibly stupid how dealerships offer the RMR exhaust for $600?(525+install) and the intake is $155...I could get alot better intakes for cheaper but they would void warranty......any idea if i can get RMR cheaper anywhere?

 

Probably not since it's only sold through dealers...unless you find a dealer that's selling it cheaper would be my guess.

How do I know its not going to void warranty?

 

Air cleaner is the same as RMR except no shield. They won't even know the difference. If that bothers you put stock one back if you have to go to the dealer. I have brought mine in with RRM Intake, nobody batted an eye!

 

Are they easy to install and how does the sound change?

 

A warranty can only be voided if they can determine that the part caused the problem. Let's say that you get a new intake and the fuel flap fails to open, that has nothing to do with your new intake. They can threaten you, but thats because they dont wnat the hassle of dealing with mod issues. I did a butt load of stuff to my car under warranty and they never said anything.

Why would anyone wait money on a Lancer OZ? Everything I have read on it states that it is an economy car that has no power. The OZ is slow. Why waste money on such a slow car. Even with thousands invested it will still be slow. I hope anyone who owns one will trade it in when the real Lancer comes over to the US. They are such junk and by far the worst car in its class. The Nissan Sentra Type-V kills it along with the Civic. Please stop talking about wasting money on such a pile of junk.
