I never thought to go to the dealership for inspection

 

they do block the lights...

 

where u from. i've never had a problem in inspection wit the lids

 

they tried to fail me here to for it. Near Boston MA .

 

What!! Failed for eyelids! Never heard of it. I also didn't know that dealerships could do inspections.

 

As dewood said, "the do block the lights". It is a safety concern. I know in PA, they do a emissions test and a safety inspection. I could see where having eyelids would make you fail a safety inspection.

 

Dealerships HAVE to do inspections.... All new cars usually have to have them (depending on state) and used cars too...

 

I can understand why they would fail you but its kinda dum. imo.

This year I took my car to a jeep dealer and they didnt pick up on my eyelids. They did fail me for no third brake light though. Dealers are a pain. They get you on all the little moron stuff.
