Max power on stock internals?(and other questions)

Sorry if I've missed this post, but a search brought up max boost over and over, but not max power.
What is the appproximate threshold of the stock internals?
What is the weak point?
Are headstuds needed to hold more boost, or will the internals fail before they are needed?

What kind of max power has been seen on street driven EVO's that are NOT using a stroker kit? Obviously a race built car, where reliabilty is not a factor, would make the most, but what has been seen on the streets?

Any links for some cars so I can view the setups of high power EVO's?

Thanks guys

I realize this, but obviously different turbos are going to deliver a different amount of power, so what does that equate to in power levels? What can the internals handle? What fails?

It is not just a power thing but how you get the power that determines what your engine will take. High bhp and low torque is not a problem, but torque can cause issues. From what I understand, put on a bigger turbo with lower boost will not stress the engine as much as a smaller turbo at higher boost. I wouldn't run more boost than Claudius mentions on standard internals.

In the UK there is at least 1 person getting over 380 bhp from standard internals. However, as a rule of thumb most people believe that to play safe, anything over about 360bhp warrants changing the internals. However, if your torque gets close to matching the bhp, you are probably running a risk if you go much over 350-60 ft/lbs of torque.

Luckily, not many have taken their engines to the point of destruction so it is hard to know for sure.

Lucky for them, not for the rest of us
